F-A-T-H-E-R 6/19/11

Today is Father day. During our children worship, we gave a short sermon followed "sermons4kids" program. It tells kids the true meaning of F-A-T-H-E-R. Please click the underlined link and see if you are a good F-A-T-H-E-R. Anyway, from now on, that's what your kids expect you to be :-)
After the sermon, children were divided into small groups, (2-3kids per group, mixed with elder and young kids.) Each team came up a list of good things their fathers have been doing for them. Here are some of those lists.
My Father by Team A
My Father by Team B
My Father by Team C
Hope you enjoy them. My favorite one is "He taught me Chinese so it can help me in the future with my job and education." (It is not from David or Crystal. But it is from a student of our Chinese school :-)

Some kids were questioning why his dad is not always F-A-T-H-E-R. I told them, just like they sometime don't listen to their Mom and Dad, we (Dads) sometime don't listen to our Heavenly Father. But our heavenly Father Forgives us and constantly Teach and Help us, so we also need their prayers to help us  to be a good F-A-T-H-E-R.
Blessings,
Zhaoyang
