Today is Memorial day. The Scripture we learned is: You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. 1 Corinthians 7:23 (NIV) So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36 (NIV)
To pay a tribute to those who paid the price for our freedom, we decide to make two stone signs on side entrance pathway to the church building. The older kids made an American flag to honor the soldiers who died for our freedom, and the younger ones made a cross to thank God for the freeedom we have because Jesus was willing to pay the penalty for our sin.
