August 28th was the last Sunday of the summer, we had planned a send-off “ceremony” for children who will join in the youth group next month. That didn’t happen. For the first time in our church history, we canceled Sunday service due to a hurricane. Hurricane Irene is the strongest tropical storm New Hampshire has ever seen for more than two decades. All Sunday long, wind was howling, rain was pouring, trees are swinging. It was quiet experience from all of us, children and Adults.
Well, storm was all over last night, we have a beautiful Monday morning with a clearest blue sky we haven’t seen for long time. On my way to work, I stopped by our church and took some photos there.

| Summer flowers children planted are still so lovely |
| Hurricane Irene certainly left its marks on children stone projects |
Blessings,
